NYC’s most populous borough gets its share of shine from rappers; in fact, it might be the single most-repped locale in hip-hop history. Still, it’s never a bad time to show a little Brooklyn Luv. On his first solo feature (we previously glimpsed him on Maino‘s Dreamer), Tweezie does exactly that, lacing a tuneful, piano-led beat by Sharif “Reefa” Slater with bars that practically drip with King’s County pride. Complete with a sung hook by the artist himself, Brooklyn Luv isn’t part of a larger project. Those feeling it, however, can keep it locked to the Booth for more from this promising up-and-comer.
