Verbatum Jones ft. Kenneth Sullivan - Palm Trees
- Artist: Verbatum Jones
- Track: Palm Trees
- Producer: Richard Malary
- Album: .WINTER
Verbatum Jones's body may live in 2014 Pennsylvania, but his mental seems to be stuck in 1986 Miami. Well, maybe “stuck” isn't the right word; judging by new single Palm Trees, it's a damn nice place (and time) to be. Over a breezy Richard Malary beat that (as the artist notes on the front) feels like something out of Vice City, Verbatum conjures up a world full of ocean breezes, clinking champagne glasses and beautiful women. Philly's Kenneth Sullivan lends his deeper flow to the final verse, and an unknown female vocalist provides a sultry, sung chorus. Palm Trees is just one of many quality cuts to be found on the artist's .WINTER LP, available now online.
