Village of Pharaohs - Here We Are

Sometimes, it takes two to make a thing go right, and sometimes threes a crowd, but what about four? Well, apparently, four makes a rap group. Hip-hop quartet Village Of Pharaohs returns to the Booth for the second time in a week (following Gone) with a laid-back tune by the name of Here We Are. Though the beat from Chris Wheeler (who sprinkled in some well-selected samples including a Kanye interview) is dusty and minimalist, the work of the group's four emcees is anything but. Sure their styles are fluid and relaxed, but their astute social commentary, will really make you think and make this more than just a chill cut. Here We Are is the latest drop from Pharaohs' forthcoming project, Pharaodigm Shift.
