When Pittsburgh native Wiz Khalifa first dropped his current single, Say Yeah, audiences everywhere began to embrace Alice DeeJay’s Better Off Alone sample and sensed a return of dance music to hip-hop. For the song’s remix, Wiz maintains his opening set of bars, but Johnny Juliano‘s original beat is scrapped for a fresh bassline by Aftermath affiliate Focus. Two of the West Coast’s up-and-coming MCs also make an appearance, as Bishop Lamont and Glasses Malone both show their ability to make it rain in the clubs (though Glasses is a bit more frugal here). As was the case with the original, the remix’s ideal location is the club, but it also makes for a great experience in the ride as well. (Just try not to speed while it’s playing!)
