Back in 1996, Atlanta-based R&B quartet 112 easily put themselves on the musical map with the release of their Mase and Biggie-assisted record, Only You. Fast-forward 16 years and Brooklyn-based songbird YOBi is attempting to do just the same with her single The One, which serves as a modern-day flip of 112's hit single. Like the record it was inspired by, The One features a cameo from a New York City spitter, but this time around that cameo comes courtesy of Dipset debonair Jim Jones. Amid Jones' fitting bars, the songstress showcases her varied vocal range which switches from sultry to powerhouse on the DJ Webstar-produced track. The One serves as the first sneak peak at YOBi's forthcoming untitled album, which is due out sometime next year.
