Young Jeezy ft. Ne-Yo - Leave You Alone
- Artist: Jeezy
- Track: Leave You Alone
- Feat. Ne-Yo
- Producer: Warren G
- Album: Thug Motivation 103: Hustlerz Ambition
Young Jeezy may be a thug in the streets, but in the realm of romance you'd better believe he's a perfect gentleman. Nonetheless, his reputation as a trapper means he has to work twice as hard as your average guy to gain a woman's trust. Coming on the heels of street single SupaFreak, Leave Me Alone finds the A-Town heavyweight attempting to assuage the fears of a female caught between her heart (and body) and her head. Over Warren G.'s bittersweet synth/piano arrangement, Jeezy asks the girl in question how she can possibly abandon a man with his skills in the sack. Not only that, but he'll still be there in the morning: “Wake I up in the morning and I'm still here / Wake up in the morning and I ain't gone / All I ask, let me just do me / And maybe just me and you can get along.” He even recruits one of the most trusted voices in R&B to vouch for him; inveterate gentleman Ne-Yo lends his smooth vocals to the chorus and bridge. This romantic selection, along with plenty of Jeezy's trademark street bangers, can be found on Thug Motivation 103: Hustlerz Ambition, available in stores and online as of December 2011.
