Breaking news, Booth readers: NYC rapper Zak Downtown and Epic Records signee Casey Veggies are on Hiatus. By which I mean that they're featured on a record titled “Hiatus,” not that they're taking a break from the rap game. But I scared you for a second there, didn't I? Single numero uno off Zak's forthcoming studio album, this joint features the unsigned spitter chronicling his paper chase (as well as his busy sex life) over producer Cash Jordan's low-key synth production. Veggies ties the record together with a bold and arrogant middle 16. The headliner's freshman set has yet to receive either a title or a drop date, but we'll keep you posted on the project as we learn more.
