Today at the NAMM 2016 show, Numark DJ has released a brand new triple-screen device called the Dashboard which will allow users to connect it to any Serato DJ setup in order to view most of the valuable information DJ's need such as waveforms, track information, effects, and more. The Dashboard is pretty much like the Numark NS7III Controller screens that are attached to an adjustable stand and can connect to any Serato DJ controller or DVS setup that is out there.
Serato DJ division keeps pumping out new fresh vinyl pressings for all DJ's to have fun with. This time they are teaming up with Low End Theory to produce a cool set of vinyl that includes tracks from Gaslamp Killer, Daddy Kev, D-Styles and Nobody. These tracks include jazzy hip-hop instrumentals, acappellas, scratch phrases, and the new Serato Control Tone (CV02.5) for users to playback the digital Serato DJ tracks. Today at the NAMM 2016 show, Denon DJ division announced their new flagship DJ controller called the MCX8000. This new monstrous DJ controller is sporting a solid metal chassis all around, dual hi-res screens for playback information, 16 RGB Backlit velocity sensitive performance pads, and full compatibility with Serato DJ when connected to a computer and Denon's Engine music management software so that DJ's can use this device without a computer.
In this newest version, the Numark NS7III has all the same features and layout of the NS7II controller we reviewed last year, but it also adds three new 4.3-inch full-color screens for full track and navigation information without the need to look at the laptop screen. The new Numark NS7III almost looks identical to the NS7II; except their is an additional panel attached to the top of the unit that holds the three screens in place.
