Overview:

A few months ago, we gave you a full video review of the first iteration of the Jetpack Backpack which was more like a prototype of what we now call the new Jetpack II Backpack by Orbit Concepts.  This bag is every bit as good as the first using the same design principles and dimensions.  The Jetpack II has been upgraded with stronger ballistic nylon, fresh colors, waterproofing around the zippers, a metal namebadge, velcro for the business cards and a few other improvements.  The Jetpack backpack can hold a 10” mixer, all of your cables, microphones, some vinyl, CD’s, USB interface, a laptop, controller, and much more all at the same time!  Check out the full HD-Video review inside…

Features & Specs

Mixer compartment: One of the most dynamic features of the Jetpack is the exclusive mixer compartment. Built to comfortably fit a DJ Mixer (up to 10"), this section includes a removable padded mixer guard and a velcro strap to secure your mixer in place.

If you travel without a mixer, this compartment can also be used for other similarly sized equipment:
VCI 300 Cables Digital dj Consoles Extra Cables
Midi Controllers Effects Units And So Much More!
Drum Machine/Samplers Wireless Mic Systems

Record compartment: The JetPack includes a unique compartment specifically designed to carry vinyl, keeping it safe, as well as separate from all your other gear. Slim enough to maximize space, yet there's enough room to bring plenty of extra vinyl (8-10 record).

Laptop compartment: The JetPack's main compartment is an absolutely huge asset equipped with:

- a snug laptop pocket that can safely and securely hold up to most 17" laptops
- 2 box fitted sections enclosed with velcro flaps ideal for cartridge cases, USB interfaces, hard drive and other similarly sized items.
- 4 adjustable velcro straps that can carry small cables.

The most exciting innovation in this compartment is the designated headphone pocket. Placed securely towards the top of the compartment and isolated from other objects, the location reduces the risk of smashing or breaking in transit. The pocket is roomy enough to fit nearly all DJ headphones out on the market today.

Tablet compartment: A first of its kind, the tablet compartment offers a specially designed padded pocket to fit your standard 10” tablet device (iPad I, II, Xoom) along with its protective case. Fit may vary depending on case.

Side pockets: Side pockets are an excellent and often overlooked resource. Deceptively spacious and covered with a velcro flap, it is easily accessible, even while the JetPack is being worn! These side pockets can hold a variety of objects, including but not limited to:

Power Supplies
Wired Microphones
Mini Recorders
Cell Phones
And Other Similarly Sized Objects.

Business card and key holder: Located behind the main front pocket, these features offer convenient access and a designated location for your business cards and keys so you will never have to dig through your bag in time of need.

Comfortable Fit: With its ultra comfortable padding and even weight distribution, the JetPack will never weigh you down, even when filled to the max. Its assortment of adjustable straps and buckles further enhances the JetPack's comfortability.

Adjustable loop: The easily accessible adjustable loop offers the ability to instantaneously tighten your shoulder straps simply by tugging the loops with your thumb. This will save you valuable seconds and get you on your way.

Material: A heavy duty water resistant ballistic nylon will ensure that your precious gear stay safe and dry.

Lockable Zipper: Equipped with a heavy duty water proof highly graded lockable zipper, this feature will prevent any liquid from entering your bag and offer you a piece of mind when traveling.
