Lil Bibby is “Trapping In My Pradas” For His Bless The Booth Freestyle
One of Chicago's most promising up-and-coming artists, Lil Bibby, took some time off from prepping the release of his highly-anticipated, forthcoming album, FC3: The Epilogue, to drop by #AudiomackStudios and record a #BlessTheBooth freestyle.
Bibby is known for gritty, cautionary street tales; exactly what you'll find in his new freestyle, where he reminds us that despite trappin' in Pradas these days his pursuit of success started from markedly different beginnings. Dree The Drummer - who's quickly becoming a BTB staple - provides soulful, yet hard-hitting production alongside newcomer KD23.
If you haven't already, make sure you download Bibby's latest free project, Free Crack 3, and prepare yourself for the February 5, release of FC3: The Epilogue by listening to his latest Booth-approved single, "Can't Trust A Soul." Catch up on our last two Bless The Booth installments with Charles Hamilton's "Rainy Day In Harlem" and "My Jamaican Baby Momma," and keep it locked (and subscribe to our YouTube channel) for more audio and visual dopeness from D12, Tommy Swisher, Tiara Thomas and more.
We hope you feel blessed, because following entries from Casey Veggies, Locksmith, Chaz French, Don Mykel and more, we have reached the eighteenth installment in our Bless The Booth series. For those not up to date, Bless The Booth has taken over for our now completed DJBooth Freestyle Series, which ran on and off for the past six years and included contributions from the likes of Kendrick Lamar, Mac Miller, Wiz Khalifa, Yelawolf, Big K.R.I.T. and more.
From the DJBooth headquarters at #AudiomackStudios, located in the heart of SoHo, NYC, to your laptop or phone (more likely), Bless The Booth brings you exclusive bars from your favorite emcees. Characterized by its off the cuff nature, our Bless The Booth series is the result of artists coming through our office to kick back and have a drink or two while enjoying the comforts of our newly remodeled digs. After cycling through a wide range of beats and achieving the optimal vibe, it's time to head into the booth and hit record.
