Noname Finally Releases “Telefone” Album, Stream It Now

The Chicago artist and poet finally, at long last, has released her much-anticipated debut.

A Chicago hip-hop artist, poet and DJBooth favorite, Noname has finally released her long-awaited debut, Telefone.

Executive produced by Noname, Cam O’bi and Phoelix, the 10-track project includes previously-released selections "All I Need" and "Freedom Interlude."

While Windy City neighbors Chance The Rapper and Vic Mensa have received a bountiful amount of support beyond the city's borders over the past three years, and buzzmakers like Saba and Joey Purp have grabbed recent headlines, you'd be hard pressed to meet anyone who has heard a single selection from Noname's limited catalog and didn't immediately seek out more material. Today, the much-anticipated "more" material has arrived.

Joining Noname on the album are special guests Eryn Allen Kane, a former Top Prospect, Joseph Chilliams, theMIND, Raury, Saba, Smino, Xavier Omär and more.

Released via her website on Sunday, July 31, Telefone is currently available for free stream. Full coverage of the release will follow on Monday, August 1.
