When he’s not using his Twitter to call out Joe Budden’s supposed Streetfighter IV skills or to critique Frank Ocean’s visual project, Mickey Factz has been hinting at some upcoming greatness.
The Bronx-bred emcee and longtime Booth favorite recently tweeted that not only does he have a full-length album, entitled The Achievement, on the way and a mixtape in the can, but he’s also prepared 600 bars for an upcoming press circuit. In a series of tweets, Factz even itemizes roughly 400 of those 600 bars for specific radio DJs.
I have an album and mixtape on the way. WITH 600 bars on deck for radio dj's.

PR moves aside, Mickey’s storied focus on lyrical quality has been a beacon of hope for many underground fans in the era of mumble rap, and you’d be hard pressed to find an emcee that takes their craft more seriously. Factz has also proven time and time again that his skillset is not strictly relegated to bars, as his concept album Mickey MauSe was widely praised for its cohesiveness and originality.
We’ve been covering Mickey’s journey towards rap’s elite for the better part of a decade now, and if his last project Y3 is any indication of upcoming quality, both his album and mixtape are going to land on some best-of lists.
