Joey Bada$$ Updates Fans on Status of New Album “A.A.B.A.”

By | Posted November 9, 2016
The follow-up to 2015's "B4.DA.$$" is coming soon.

For months, Joey Badass has been teasing the release of his forthcoming album, A.A.B.A., and now we finally have a release... quarter.

In a tweet sent out Tuesday evening (November 8), the PRO ERA emcee announced that the follow-up to 2015's B4.DA.$$ will arrive at the "top of next year."

Even without releasing an album in 2016, the Brooklyn native had a banner year. Thanks to the album's successful lead single "Devastated," Badass was able to cross over into a more mainstream lane, and as a result of his supporting role on the critically-acclaimed USA series Mr. Robot, the 21-year-old proved his acting chops can go toe-to-toe with his on-the-mic work.

So long as Joey stays off social media and doesn't further alienate fans, he should be in line for a true star turn in 2017.
