The best song in Future's massive catalog is "Codeine Crazy" and according to producer TM88, it could have ended up in the hands of another artist.

"I really made the beat for Nicki [Minaj]," TM88 told HNHH. "She was working on her album and I wanted to give her some beats so bad [but] I ended up not giving them to her. Future called, I think it was the next day or next two days, and he was like, 'Bro, I need some beats. I'm going in. I need you.' I was like, 'fuck it,' and I sent the whole [beat] pack to him."

In addition to placing the "Codeine Crazy" beat on Future's heralded Monster mixtape, TM88 also landed placements for "After That" (featuring Lil Wayne), "Showed Up" and "Fetti"—all of which came from the same beat pack that contained "Codeine Crazy."

Earlier this week, Cardo revealed that, before Travis Scott recorded "goosebumps," Future was one of five artists—including Drake, ScHoolboy Q, Rihanna and Young Thug—to have the beat in his possession. This means that, in some alternative hip-hop universe, neither "Codeine Crazy" nor "goosebumps" exist. Just add 'em to the list.
