It's official.

On June 30, Jay Z will release his brand new album 4:44. The project will be made available exclusively on Jay's own TIDAL platform in conjunction with Sprint, who owns a 33% of the streaming company.

4:44 is the 13th solo album release of Jay Z's career and the first since 2013's 2x Platinum certified Magna Carta... Holy Grail.

Sprint confirmed the album and its release date in a tweet on Sunday (June 18) evening:

A 30-second preview of "Adnis," which Jay Z raps is a "letter to my dad," Adnis Reeves, can be heard in the accompanying film's trailer—starring Mahershala Ali and Danny Glover—which is currently available on, you guessed it, TIDAL.
