Logic‘s current single, “1-800-273-8255,” featuring Alessia Cara and Khalid, is currently sitting at No. 47 on the Billboard Hot 100, the highest-charting single of his career to date.

More impressive than its charting position, however, is the impact that the song—titled after the toll-free phone number for the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline—has had on suicide prevention awareness.

According to the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline, since Logic’s hit single was released in late April, both call volume and traffic to their website have dramatically increased.

As a direct result of what Logic says is “the most important song I’ve ever wrote,” calls placed to the NSPL surged 27% in the three weeks following the single’s release (April 28), while their website saw a 100,000 monthly user boost (from an average of 300,000 users to 400,000 users) in both April and May.

“1-800-273-8255,” co-produced by Logic and 6ix, can be found on the Maryland native’s third studio album, Everybody, which was released on May 5.
