Separately, ScHoolboy Q and Anderson .Paak have been working together on new music for most of 2017—Q started working on the following up to his GRAMMY-nominated Blank Face LP last December, while .Paak and his band, The Free Nationals, have been crafting a follow-up to the GRAMMY-nominated Malibu—but early Friday morning (September 8), the pair were spotted together in the studio on Q's world-famous Snapchat.

Q and Paak have worked together twice previously, on Malibu standout "Am I Wrong" and the remixed version of "Come Down."

In addition to working on new material with Q, .Paak has also been connected to collaborative projects with Chance The Rapper and Flying Lotus.

We have reached out to .Paak for further details on his latest work with Q and will update this article if and when we hear back. In the meantime, though, we recommend pressing play on .Paak's latest collaboration with Mr. Probz, "Gone."
