SZA‘s “The Weekend,” the ThankGod4Cody-produced third single off her acclaimed debut Ctrl, has officially been certified Platinum by the RIAA.

“The Weekend” becomes the second single from SZA’s Gold-certified album to earn a Platinum plaque, following the Travis Scott-assisted single “Love Galore.”

The news was first announced this morning on Twitter by TDE co-president and SZA’s manager, Terrence “Punch” Henderson, which DJBooth confirmed by speaking with Liz Kennedy, the VP of Communications for the RIAA.

On Tuesday (November 7), SZA was the 14th most popular artist on Spotify, with over 4.7 million streams in 24 hours. She currently averages 7 million monthly listeners on the platform, good for a ranking of 244th in the world.
