DJBooth is proud to announce that the Jean Grae will be rocking on our stage for this year's A3C Festival in Atlanta. A fearlessly original emcee that first made her mark with the critically acclaimed group Natural Resources (where she went by the moniker What? What?), Jean rose through the ranks of the underground hip-hop scene and became known for her trademark blend of humor, aggression and heavily stylized rhymes.

Since then Jean's gone on to release her debut album Attack of the Attacking Things, followed by the collaborative effort with 9th Wonder, Jeanius. After a nearly four-year hiatus that still found Jean rolling out collaborations with a host of other artists, Jean signed to Talib Kweli's Blacksmith Music label, releasing new mixtape Cookies or Comas via DJBooth.net as she continues to work on her next album, Cake or Death. Only Grae knows what the future holds for her, but as longtime fans know, we can expect the unexpected.
