Aaron Cohen - Potential Fans

Posted 3 years ago
Producer:
Tommy Kruise
Album:
None (Promo Single)

As far as Aaron Cohen is concerned, there’s no such thing as critics—only Potential Fans. Introduced to our pages via last summer’s Feminist, the N.Y.-by-way-of-Seattle rhymesayer returns to transform some of that potential into actuality with his latest promo single and accompanying music video. Tommy Kruise‘s low-key organ/percussion boardwork bangs in the back as Cohen delivers bold and arrogant bars extolling his charisma and his single-minded dedication to the paper chase (“I’m just tryin’a get these ducats before I kick the bucket.”). Director Jared Soule depicts the artist kicking it with his ICK (Inner City Kids) posse in the official visuals. This joint isn’t part of a forthcoming album, but we’ll keep you up to date on the Emerald City native’s plans in the weeks and months ahead.
