Fresh off earning positive DJBooth feedback for Gimme That, a collaboration with UK electronic artist Lunice, reader fave Angel Haze returns with another joint effort recorded during her recent sojourn to London. This time around, her production partners are Rudimental, the British drum ‘n’ bass four-piece introduced to our pages via hit single Not Giving In. The group takes a similarly soulful tack as on their Booth debut, basing the hook around a dark piano loop and Haze’s own smoky sung vocals, but set aside their usual breakneck beats in favor of a cooler four-on-the-floor verse rhythm that gives her flow ample room to breathe. This promo cut isn’t attached to any forthcoming project, but fans can stay tuned for the latest on Haze’s plans. In the meantime, street release Classick is still available for streaming and download free of charge.
