Bad Rabbits - Trix Are for Kids

Posted 6 years ago
Producer:
Jayson Dezuzio
Album:
Unreleased

As anyone who watched their DJBooth video interview with the homeboy DJ Z knows, Boston rock/r&b/pop/etc. crew Bad Rabbits have a wicked sense of humor, so it should come as no surprise that the quintet is having a little fun with their own name on the newly-released, unreleased song Trix Are for Kids. Just like their DJBooth debut cut Can’t Back Down, I’m sure that the Rabbits far-left-of-center sound will likely attract a wide-range of opinion, but personally I’m digging the sonic change of pace. We’ve heard “women are evil” tracks before, but none of them have utilized a blend of punk rock, pop synths and whatever else producer Jayson Dezuzio and the boys could cook up to get their point across. Add in some dynamic vocals from lead singer Dua Boakye and we’ve got a track the Booth’s guaranteed to love…or hate. Really, it’s one or the other. One thing’s for sure, I’m on my way right now to check out their EP Stick Up Kids, available now. Who’s with me?
