Big Boi ft. Phantogram & Sade - CPU 2.0 (Dungeoneze Remix)

Dungeoneze (aka DJ Dark Fader)
Album:
Mash-Up Monday Series

Big Boi has one hell of a year ahead: in addition to dropping his third solo set, he will be rejoining forces with Outkast partner-in-rhyme Andre 3000 for a reunion tour and album. Before all that, though, General Patton will be unleashing a series of nine remixed cuts from his last full-length, Vicious Lies & Dangerous Rumors. Brought to our attention by our friends at The Smoking Section, the newly-released CPU 2.0 offers a taste of what listeners can expect in the weeks ahead. Dungeoneze (aka DJ Dark Fader) replaces Chris Carmouche and Jeron Ward behind the boards, cooking up a slinky synth groove to replace the original’s harder-edged beat. The perfect complement to the smooth instrumental, a Sade Adu sample is added to Big Boi and returning guests Phantogram on the mic. Feeling it? Then watch our pages for further remixes in the ongoing series, as well as updates on the rest of the headliner’s 2014 projects.
