After the success of Sir Lucious Leftfoot: Son if Chico Dusty, one would tend to think that it would be too much of a task for Dungeon Family mainstay Big Boi to come back with another banger of an album. Well, judging by what he’s heating up this summer, I would say the brother is all-in for a repeat. On his new single Gossip, Daddy Fat Sacks hops on the horn and lassoed up fellow southerners UGK (Yes, Bun B and Pimp C) and Big K.R.I.T to assist with ripping all those loose lipped gossip spreaders a new one. Big slides in as smooth as ever, showing that regardless of public opinion, he was not and still is not the weaker member of Outkast. All four MCs put in work over this Organized Noize-produced 808 and synth heavy southern style track and I must say that it is one of the stronger cuts from the south that I’ve heard this year. Big’s new album Vicious Lies & Dangerous Rumors is set to drop on November 13, which is quite a while away, so for now run this back a few times and prepare your ears for what he’s got brewing for the fall.
