Big Boi ft. Kid Cudi & Stevie Wonder - Part Time Hater

Dungeoneze (aka DJ Dark Fader)
Mash-Up Monday Series

Since January, Big Boi and DJ Dark Fader have been making the beginning of the work week a little bit more bearable by unleashing a brand new remix/mash-up each Monday. Alas, all good things must come to an end. Yesterday evening, General Patton brought #MashupMondays to an appropriately thrilling climax with Part Time Hater, the ninth and final installment in the reader-acclaimed series. Here, Dungeoneze puts a soulfully upbeat spin on She Hates Me, a Kid CuDi-assisted relationship jam that won rave reviews when it hit our front page in December of 2012. In place of the somber Sharif Wilson/Big Boi/Chris Carmouche production that backed the album version, Dungeoneze turns in a sprightly beat sampled from Stevie Wonder‘s 1985 hit, Part Time Lover. #MashupMondays may be over, but fans have a lot to look forward to in the months ahead. Not only does Big Boi have a new solo album in the works, but he’s going to be rejoining forces with Outkast partner-in-rhyme Andre 3k for a reunion LP and a series of festival performances.
