Goals EP

Don’t you hate it when you meet the perfect woman, but you can’t be together because she’s all tangled in some kudzu? OK, I can’t say that’s ever happened to me, but it’s apparently a common occurrence in Blak Nevada‘s world. On his latest EP single, the Illinois-repping alt-R&B buzzmaker laments, “This could be so special, but you’re caught up in The Vines.” As usual, Nevada rocks several hats at once. In addition to penning and performing the cut’s poetically oblique verses, he crafts its immersive instrumental backdrop, featuring intricate vocal harmonies and a powerful minor-key chord progression. Feeling it? Then stay tuned; the Goals EP is currently unscheduled, but we’ll keep you posted on the set as further details emerge.
