Bobby Creekwater - You and What Army

Posted 5 years ago
Producer:
I Am Invisible (formerly The Invisible)
Album:
Revenge

While (famous) rappers are traveling around in Maybachs and G6 jets, shooting videos with girls that are paid to be there, the average fan of their music is driving home from their 9-to-5 or night job. Struggling with bills, personal issues, etc., the average rapper rhymes are about life after the struggle, not the struggle itself. Today, Atlanta representative Bobby Creekwater wants you to know his struggle and journey. Dropping off You And What Army, the first single from his upcoming debut album Revenge, Creekwater raps about his daily life growing up in the A. Produced by I Am Invisible, You and What Army is a head-nodding and hypnotic affair with quick snares and paralyzing synths that ride throughout the song over which the former Shady Records signee uses to paint a lyrical picture: “And here I am, run these streets, trying to find a bit of my identity / Meanwhile every other n***a I know getting money riding in the drop top like Kennedy.” Creekwater exacts his Revenge on May 3, keep it locked for more.
