End of Discussion

Going after the fourth lyrical facet of conscious thought, Baltimore’s Bossman reflects on the racial tension between blacks and whites.  Starting with a sample from Martin Luther King Jr.‘s famous I Have A Dream speech, the Boss brings up social news stories like Don Imus’ “nappy-headed hoes” comment, Michael Richards’ n-word laced comedy club tirade and the Jena 6 drama.  He just wants to know When Will It Be Over?  Citing the collaboration between artists like Eminem and 50 Cent, Bossman shows how wonderful it can be when blacks and whites set aside their differences and work collectively.  Rarely is music this poignant found in Hip Hop, so if When Will It Be Over is any indicator, look for Bossman to stay on course for years to come.
