Bridge - September 8th

Posted 2 years ago
Producer:
DPAT
Album:
Creature of Habit: II

Unsigned R&B singer Bridge came into the world on September 8th, and he’s in very good company; that’s also the birthday of Pink, Wiz Khalifa and a certain DJBooth editor by the name of Richard. Don’t go into this freshly-minted promo single expecting a celebration, though. Like a true Virgo, the L.A. native spends his special day engaged in some intense introspection about his life, achievements and relationships. Over DPAT‘s production, a low-key synth arrangement laced with eerie, murmuring vocal samples, the artist reflects on the growing chasm separating him from his friends, his addiction to money and casual sex and his anxieties about his career. Creature of Habit: II still lacks a solid drop date, but we’ll keep you posted on the project as further details emerge.
