Heeyyyyyyyyyyyguyssssssssss youd’betta listunnn on diz song stuff cuz’ its rlyy gud aeiiegagnwrjegh…..getmeanutherbeer. Excuse that disaster of a sentence, I was just getting in the spirit of Drunk Talk, the latest effort from Seatle hip-hop crew Brothers From Another. With that title, you might be expecting some sloppy, lazy rhyming, but the crew’s flow could not be any cleaner. Backed by Addis and Kromagnon‘s laid-back, airy production, BFA take turns lacing the beat with fluid, easygoing bars. In their verses, they exhibit a youthful exuberance that will make even the oldest hip-hop head feel like a kid again. If this intoxicating single has left you with the drunk munchies, be sure to grab the crew’s Tacos on Broadway EP when it drops digitally next month.
