Chris Brown ft. Benny Benassi - Beautiful People

Posted 5 years ago
Producer:
Benny Benassi
Album:
F.A.M.E.

The last time I took a glance at the work Chris Brown was bringing on for his upcoming F.A.M.E. project, due out March 22, it was the Look at Me Now cut that Busta Rhymes and Lil Wayne absolutely murdered. That song was aimed at a target audience of club members who relish in their own bravado and currency collection. Compared to that record, the Benny Benassi produced Beautiful People is at the polar opposite of the same pop spectrum. Where Look at Me Now was stripped production, bars of flaunted wealth and sneering towards haters, Beautiful People is a synthesized, polished and manicured track that aims at resuscitating the Euro pop feel that former Breezy hit Forever had. It’s uplifting and pulsating, that’s for certain, as Breezy reins in his vocals to deliver a more sustained effect to listeners. Considering everything Brown has gone through and how he seems to have won back the press leading up to Grammy night, maybe F.A.M.E will be that album that rockets him back to the class of elite R&B heartthrobs his own actions knocked him out of almost two years ago.
