Chris Brown - Fine China

Posted 3 years ago
Producer:
Roccstar & PK
Album:
X

Last month, in an interview with USA TODAY, Chris Brown stated that the lead single off his forthcoming sixth studio album “pays homage to the old greats, [like] Stevie Wonder, Sam Cooke and Michael Jackson.”  While controversial and often polarizing, it’d be hard to argue that the RCA recording artist doesn’t have the vocal and performance chops to make good on such a promise after to listening to his latest effort.  Fine China, a funky Roccstar & PK-produced head nodder, steers Brown clear of his rapping self and his often go-to EDM tendencies, focusing on his sweet-sounding falsetto.  Visuals, directed by Sylvain White, depict the Virginian as a stand up guy, picking up a date for an exciting night on the town. Fine China might break, but it won’t have anything to do with Brown’s image.  X is due out later this year.
