Chrome Cats - Glow

Posted 2 years ago
Producer:
Digital Beatz

I luckily live in the same city as my brother, so we see each other fairly often for basketball games and a beer (or four). Still, we have never done what sibling duo Chrome Cats accomplish on a regular basis; creating refreshing, R&B-informed music together. We’ll leave that to them, though. To celebrate Jamila‘s birthday, she and her brother, KJ, sing something much more original than Happy Birthday. On Glow, making its world premiere right here in the Booth, Digital Beatz cooks up a shapeshifting synth instrumental to accompany the crewmates as they showcase their vocal versatility. With his sister by his side, killin’ it on the R&B side of things, KJ croons in perfect harmony (must be a sibling connection) and even raps a little here and there to change it up. This record is not attached to anything larger, but fans of Glow are encouraged to check out their last Booth feature, Flight to Paradise.
