Clinton Sparks - Boston Bass

Producer:
Clinton Sparks
Album:
My Awesome Mixtape 4

Beantown, stand up! On a brand new single off his next solo mixtape, Clinton Sparks demonstrates his hometown pride by hitting listeners with a little bit of that Boston Bass. In addition to a sample from Game‘s verse on Sparks’ own Favorite DJ (Remix) (“Hit ‘em with the punchline, hit ‘em with the bass!”), this pummeling club banger features a melody interpolated from Quincy punk band Dropkick Murphys’ locally-beloved 2005 single, I’m Shipping Up to Boston. Set in Clinton’s own neighborhood, Dorchester, the artist-directed visuals depict the DJ as a bare-knuckle boxer preparing for a big fight. Sure to see heavy rotation on dancefloors throughout the Bay State, this anthemic cut will be part of My Awesome Mixtape Vol. 4. Keep it locked for the latest on the yet-unscheduled project, which will feature guest appearances from 2 Chainz, Snoop Dogg, Bun B and more.
