In preparation for next week’s release of their Sophisticated Ignorance EP, New York City duo Da YoungFellaz are offering up a sample of the project in the form of single Incognito. On the Grand Staff-produced song both rappers swap verses on the struggles of love while singer/songwriter K-Quick sums up the overall feel of the song as he croons, “Riding through the city with my hat real low. / I just wanna be alone, tonight. I’m feeling incognito.” Quick’s airy hook provides Incognito with just the right amount of R&B, it adds a touch of soulfulness to the song while not taking away from the Hip-Hop feel of the record. Serving as a follow-up to this year’s The Underclassmen EP, Da YoungFellaz’ Sophisticated Ignorance EP will be released on July 31 via iTunes.
