Urban Rock Mixtape Vol. 3

David Correy knows that his girl back home is loyal but, all the same, sometimes he Wonders… On the follow-up to Booth-premiered lead mixtape single Breaking Away, the X Factor USA alumnus admits to feeling a little insecure about the strength of their relationship. Over project collaborator ID Labs’ low-key R&B boardwork, the Urban Rock singer tells the woman in question that she’s the constant inspiration behind his hustle, and asks for her assurance that she’s still down. To seal the deal, he laces the back with some of the loftiest falsetto notes I’ve heard a male singer anyone produce in a hot minute. Seriously—the man’s got range. Urban Rock Mixtape 3 is currently unscheduled, but we in The DJBooth will keep you supplied with all the latest on the forthcoming project.
