DJBooth Freestyle Series (#11)

Oft imitated but never equaled, the DJBooth Freestyle Series ran from February 2009 through June 2011. Its 250 total entries were the work of a veritable who’s-who of underground and emerging emcees, including rising stars like Kendrick Lamar, Wiz Khalifa and Mac Miller. Now, it’s back for a second round. The 11th entry in the relaunched series comes courtesy of Devin Miles, the Pittsburgh representative last featured with December’s 4:12am. On Where the DJs At?, the artist flexes his lyrical muscles over a leisurely, keyboard-laced beat by Christo. Fred Lozaro provides original artwork to accompany the freestyle. Devin Miles doesn’t have any future projects on the agenda, but we’ll keep you posted on his plans as further details emerge.

Watch our pages for future freestyle series entries from Locksmith, Vic Spencer, Nitty Scott, MC and more!
