Disko Boogie ft. Kurupt - Kali Dreamin

Posted 4 years ago
Featuring:
Producer:
Disko Boogie
Album:
None (Promo Single)

In 1965 folk group the Mamas & The Papas created their classic tune California Dreaming, and the foundation they laid down is so strong nearly 50-years-later rappers are still building on it. For his The DJBooth debut emcee/producer Disko Boogie drops off the supremely relaxed Kali Dreamin, a cut build around a classic west coast instrumental from Disko that cruises smoother than a Monte Carlo through Malibu. Boogie also gets busy on the mic, laying down thoroughly SoCal rhymes that legendary L.A. rapper Kurupt elevates to another level on his guest verse. While there’s still no word on an upcoming project from Disko, those feeling Disko’s Boogie should let him know in the comments and ratings. We think the Mamas & The Papas would approve.
