DJ Prince ft. Sean Price - Shottas

Posted 2 years ago
DJ Prince

If the Phantom of the Opera grew up in a Dancehall in the Bronx, right around when Kool Herc was throwing his famous house parties, his work would probably sound a lot like DJ Prince‘s latest release, Shottas. Borrowing its name from a 2002 Jamaican crime film, a bonus track off of Prince’s upcoming Test My Sound LP is made even more ominous with the guest contributions of Brownsville’s Sean Price. This one should make the cut for next year’s Halloween playlist. And you heard P! right when he says that he’s “going bar for bar with Skyzoo’s DJ” (aka Prince) on the track. It should frighten you (in a good way, of course) what DJ Prince and Skyzoo are fully capable of together. Test My Sound will be available for free stream and download, right here at The DJBooth on May 13.
