DJ Sidereal ft. The Gooneez - As We Proceed

DJ Sidereal
Album:

Introduced to our pages with late June’s All I Need Is Sunshine, Minneapolis’ DJ Sidereal makes his return to the Booth with As We Proceed. Whereas the first-named cut was an all-Twin Cities affair, this joint finds the DJ and producer branching out to enlist a Booth-acclaimed crew from the left side of the U.S. map. Dre and Frank of Los Angeles underground crew The Gooneez take turns showcasing their double-time flows over the headliner’s beat, which incorporates a sample of R&B heavyweight Miguel as well as Puffy‘s famous catchphrase (“As we proceed to give you what you need!”). This record is part of Sidereal’s S.I.D.E. Project series, which will be released as a free mixtape in mid-September. Fans on the West Coast can currently catch the Gooneez touring throughout the region.
