Duru Tha King - Planet High

Posted 2 years ago
Producer:
Chased Davis
Album:

I fully expect to see an increase in the number of people purchasing plane tickets to Colorado and Washington thanks to the legalization of marijuana in those states. Sure, Denver sounds great, but I’m more interested in boarding Booth newcomer Duru Tha King‘s spaceship, which is bound for a place called Planet High. I don’t know where that is or how long the journey will take, but as long as I have the artist’s stoner-friendly music on deck, I’ll be OK. Chased Davis provides a spacey, synth-heavy instrumental to match the record’s intergalactic theme. Duru sounds right at home over the beat, exhibiting an appropriately blunted flow as he delivers his weed-themed bars. Fans will be able to find Planet High on Duru’s Indoor Plus EP, which is scheduled for release in March.
