First Division ft. Supastition - Three Times Dope

Posted 2 years ago

Expertise and Shylow are each talented emcees in their own right, so their collaborative venture, First Division, is like Doublemint gum: double the freshness. Throw in another mic-murderer—Supastition, for instance—and you’ve got Three Times Dope. Premiering on our pages as single numero uno off FD’s next project, this cut finds the Ontario partners-in-rhyme and their First in Flight State-repping guest taking turns ripping the mic, their aggressive bars bolstered by BeatWyze‘s syncopated percussion and chopped soul samples. This single is just the beginning of the quality material in store on The Critical Path Pt. 2. While you wait for info on the release, due out May 27, you can always take a(nother) listen to Pt. 1, released via The DJBooth in January.
