Fly Union - This or That

Posted 2 years ago
Producer:
Ivan "Iye" Houpe [of MNKEYWRENCH]
Album:
Small Victories

Fly Union has been gracing the pages of The DJBooth for some time now (almost five years, in fact), but their only video single featured to date, Feel Good, dropped way back in 2011, so there is a good chance you missed it. Finally, those who are new to the Ohio trio’s refreshing style can put faces to the group member’s names. New release This or That comes equipped with a set of visuals that were directed and edited by FU themselves. As they hang out on the street and in a construction site, the partners-in-rhyme rattle off dense bars with ease and alacrity. They seem to glide atop group member Ivan “Iye” Houpe‘s smooth, feathery instrumental. This or That (which will appear on their March-bound Small Victories project) is the group’s third feature this calender year, following Get Paid and Hustle.
