Frank Leone - JuneLIFE

Posted 3 years ago
Producer:
dhjelmstad
Album:
TBD

I know what you’re thinking: why is Frank Leone rapping about the JuneLIFE when the rest of us are already living in July? The answer’s beyond me, but it doesn’t really matter; if you were to hit play 11 months from now, I have a feeling this joint would still sound just as fresh and original as it does today. While the Illinois native’s dextrous rhymes are as compelling as ever, it’s djhelmstad who steals the show, pairing a clattering breakbeat with a breezy flip of Icebird‘s Charmed Life and tying his instrumental together with an original guitar solo. JuneLIFE will be part of a forthcoming project from Frank Leone, the title and drop date of which have yet to be announced. Stay on the lookout for this record’s official visuals, which the artist plans to debut “very soon.”
