Future ft. Trae Tha Truth - Long Live The Pimp

Posted 3 years ago
Featuring:
Producer:
Da Honorable C.N.O.T.E.
Album:
Pluto 3D

If musical pimpin’ was a Fortune 500 business, than the late Pimp C would have been its President and CEO, because nobody knew the topic better than Chad Butler. The sheer amount of candy-painted, drank-pouring anthems that the UGK alumnus inspired is beyond quantifiable. The latest entry on that list is courtesy of Future, who has rolled out visuals for Long Live The Pimp, a song dedicated to the Houston legend. Surrounded by freshly-painted whips, Styrofoam cup in hand, the ATL native sheds his manufactured Auto-Tuned vocals in order to do the boisterous Da Honorable C.N.O.T.E-produced track justice. Opting for a gritty, slightly more listenable flow, Future is complimented nicely by guest, Trae Tha Truth, whose raspy, southern drawl is the optimum balance. Long Live The Pimp can be found on Future’s Epic Records debut, Pluto, which was recently re-released in November as Pluto 3D.
