Gucci Mane x Wiz Khalifa - Nothin On Ya

Posted 3 years ago
Featuring:
Producer:
Spinz & C4
Album:
None (Promo Single)

I’ll keep it one-hundred: though it’s been nearly three years since an ATL emcee named B.o.B broke through with the sentimental Nothing on You, the title of Gucci Mane and Wiz Khalifa‘s new, jointly-released promo single was enough to send Bruno Mars’ chorus running through my head. As it turns out, the comparison isn’t all that far-fetched; like the 2010 hit, Nothin’ on Ya features the artists reaffirming their loyalty to the women in their lives. Groupie love? Not even a temptation—they’re so smitten with their respective girls that other chicks aren’t even on their radar. The record’s sound, on the other hand, couldn’t be more different. Spinz & C4 man the boards, backing the Taylor Gang and 1017 Brick Squad generals’ rhymes with a thundering trap arrangement sure to inspire a few noise citations in the weeks ahead. Nothin’ isn’t part of any forthcoming project—yet. Pending further details on the collaborators’ plans, Wiz Khalifa fans who haven’t already can still cop sophomore album O.N.I.F.C. wherever fine music is sold.
