Gym Class Heroes ft. Oh Land - Life Goes On

The Papercut Chronicles II

If you’ve been living under a rock over the last several months, please allow me the pleasure of breaking the news to you that Gym Class Heroes are back together and have a new album coming out, The Papercut Chronicles II, which is a proper sequel to the album that spawned their first mega hit Cupid’s Chokehold. After smashing the mainstream over the head with Chronicles II‘s first single Stereo Hearts, featuring Adam Levine, GCH have released their latest lighters in the sky anthem, Life Goes On, that sees Travie McCoy return to his typical revealing and simplistic style that have made him such an endearing personality and front-man in the alternative-pop world. Along with a far-reaching beat from producer Emile Haynie, Danish songbird Oh Land brings the song together with an atmospheric chorus that helps take the song to stadium level during the all-important breakdown towards the end of the track, which also sees the kicking in of guitarist Disashi Lumumba-Kasongo’s nimble licks for added force. Chronicles II is dropping November 15 through Fueled By Ramen/Warner Music Group.
