Update: The Richard Coburn, Andrew Melby and Sam McCourt-directed visuals for Hilltop Hood’s Live & Let Go single have been added.

Some people say you should live and let live. Paul McCartney prefers to live and let die. Australian rap crew Hilltop Hoods? When times get tough, they follow the mantra, “Live & Let Go.” On the final pre-release single off their freshly-minted seventh full-length, lyricists Suffa and MC Pressure offer some words of support to those currently experiencing hardship: “I know our demons walk among us, but struggle’s something that we do, not something to become us.” Joining the headliners over a lush, pensive in-house beat, Minneapolis mainstay Brother Ali contributes a similarly inspiring guest 16, and Irish/English recording artist Maverick Sabre lends his weathered vocals to the chorus. For Live and much more, cop the Hoods’ Walking Under Stars EP, out now via Golden Era Records/Fontana.
