Update: The Andre Muir-directed visuals for Ibn Inglor’s COLD STORM have been added.

As of my writing, the temperature in Chicago is a comfortable 84 degrees Fahrenheit. Ibn Inglor, however, is still shivering. Making its world premiere right here on our front page, the Windy City rhymesayer’s latest single finds him, “ridin’ on his bike in a COLD STORM.” While Inglor’s bars here are more nightlife-focused than on many of his previous features, they retain a distinct sinister undertone. Mhone Glor‘s captures the fly, yet ominous vibe on the production tip, turning in a shadowy synth groove accented by unconventional samples (including monkey screeches and other jungle fauna). This bracing banger is part of Inglor’s sophomore street release, New Wave. The set has yet to receive a drop date, but we’ll keep you supplied with further singles and release details as they emerge. In the meantime, debut set GawdsSpeed is still available for free streaming and download in the Booth.
