Ice Cube - Sic Them Youngins on Em

Posted 2 years ago
Producer:
Jimmy Anthony [for Solid Prod.]
Album:
Everythang's Corrupt

At 44, Ice Cube is no longer quite as intimidating a public figure as he was during the heyday of N.W.A. In truth, however, his stature in the industry has made him even more dangerous to his enemies than before. On the latest single off his next full-length, the Lench Mob founder plays the Mafia don to a tee, letting potential foes know that he won’t hesitate to Sic Them Youngins on Em. As Cube spits about the “consequences and repercussions” that await those foolish enough to run afoul of him and his clique, beatsmith Jimmy Anthony backs his bars with an appropriately ominous mix of synth-strings and bass-booming percussion. Released to iTunes today, Youngins is but one of many bangers to be found on Ice Cube’s 10th studio album, Everythang’s Corrupt. Also featuring the Booth-approved Sasquatch, the project is scheduled to hit record stores and online retailers May 13.
